Global Training Aviation, announced today that their new ATR 72-600 Level D Full Flight Simulator (FFS), provided by TRU Simulation + Training, is expected to be ready for training on November 15, 2017. The FFS will be located on the premises of GTA, in Madrid (SPAIN), and along with the existing ATR 72-500 simulator it will complement the training on this aircraft type.
This state-of-the-art FFS will become the 4th Level D FFS (Two ATR FFS Level D, and two A320 FFS Level D, one located in Madrid and the other one in the GTA Simulator Center in Jakarta, Indonesia).
GTA is supported by the major European ATR operators and brings substantial experience in the operation of the aforementioned ATR 72-500 simulator, which allows huge success in this new and ambitious project. This simulator will meet the growing demand of training for this aircraft type, which is one of the most successful in the regional aviation market.

GTA´s new Training Centre has received certification from the Indonesia Civil Aviation Authority (DGCA Indonesia) for the use of its new A320 FFS, in cooperation with National Aircrew Management (NAM).
The new A320 Simulator counts on cutting edge technology, with the most advanced features in flight simulation nowadays, using Airbus Standard 1.8, 4-channel 200ºx40º field of view INDRA display system, LCoS / LED technology InVis2 visual image generator global world visual data base integrating, CFM and/or IAE engine simulation and INDRA ATC Simulation for FFS, among many others.
GTA decided to purchase this Simulator for one of the most popular aircrafts used by airlines around the world, to cover the demand for training in the Asia Pacific region. This region has seen a rapid growth in air traffic in recent years that is leading airlines to take on new professionals who need to have a minimum number of simulator training hours per year.
In turn, Indonesia as a nation depends on air travel to connect its different islands. This makes it the ideal base for the new pilot training facility.
With regard to Indra, this new simulator boosts the technology company's presence in the region. The new simulator will be located on the premises of GTA SENASA, in Madrid, along with the existing ATR 72-500 simulator, also manufactured by INDRA, and it will complement the training on this Aircraft type. This new simulator will become the 4th simulator of this successful business relationship between GTA and INDRA. (Two ATR FFS Level D, and two A320 FFS Level D, one located in Madrid and the other one in the GTA Simulator Center in Jakarta, Indonesia).
Este nuevo simulador se ubicará en las instalaciones de FTA SENASA en Madrid junto a su simulador ATR 72-500, también fabricado por Indra como complemento para la formación de este modelo.
Este nuevo simulador se convertirá en el 4º simulador del acuerdo de relación comercial entre ambas compañías después de los dos FFS nivel D ATR, y dos FFS nivel D A320, uno en Madrid y otro en el centro de simulación de Yakarta, Indonesia.
GTA cuenta con el apoyo de los principales operadores europeos, así como una larga trayectoria comercializando el ATR 72-500, lo que ayudará en este nuevo proyecto.
Por otra parte, GTA ha anunciado la apertura de su nuevo centro de simulación en la capital de Indonesia, Yakarta. Este centro cubrirá la demanda de pilotos en el mercado de Asía-Pacífico que se encuentra actualmente en expansión.
El centro cuenta con un nuevo simulador de última generación FFS Level D A320 AS1.8 fabricado también por Indra, que se encuentra en proceso de instalación y puesta a punto. Se espera que esté operativo a finales de julio....
